To all who have visited this blog in 2010, may I wish you a Happy New Year, and may you get everything you wish for, within reason. To all those who have left comments, thank you for taking the trouble to contribute. You are all much appreciated.
You may gather from the timing of this post that I am not attending a wild party this evening. The positive is that I won't be ending up like the rest of you ...
Or, you could be "On the Piss"...........

Anyway, have a Happy & Prosperous New Year.

ReplyDeleteMe neither - I'm stone cold sober!
Time to shut Windows down and get some kip....
All the best!
@Joe - blearrrrrrrrrgh.
ReplyDelete@microdave - shame. Have a Scotch and get to bed, like I am going to do any minute now ...
Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteThe next Classic Car auction in Kings Lynn is on 22 January. The catalogue is filling up.

Well, that's one resolution blown to atoms before the year is an hour old. The one that says I will not look on the internet at things I can't afford and don't need but have a strange yearning for.
ReplyDeleteHNY to you too :)
Happy new year! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd to you too - keep the rage in 2011.
ReplyDelete@ WoaR - Nice PROTOTYPE MINI SX. But I shudder to think what it's like in the wet!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Tasty TR3A as well. Only 23 grand ...
ReplyDeleteParty, but very little wildness for me. Good company, much coffee, no alcohol and a jolly nice ride home through the surprisingly mild small hours of the morning. Followed by a nightcap (alright, a couple of nightcaps).
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year one and all.
PS: "not look on the internet at things I can't afford and don't need but have a strange yearning for" should win an award for most optimistic resolution ever made!
Yes, it's up there along with 'will stop smoking by Dec 31st' and 'will lose 5 stone before continental holiday'.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good evening, and all the very best to you and Sue for 2011. How's she doing on the Sachs, by the way? I expect the snow and ice have been a bit of a turn-off.
Thanks, Rich.
ReplyDeleteWeather has indeed temporarily stopped play with the Sachs, but the interest is still there. Sue asked for a top-box for it for Christmas, which (being romantic and all, but, hey, it is a stylish Givi) was what she got! That gives enough space to stow waterproofs and helmet, so she's keen to put it to practical use now.
This sounds very positive!
