If ever there was an argument that market forces bottom out the true value of something...!
What puzzles me is the assumption that a whole lot of students are expected to say "hey, I didn't join Labour before when the subscription was an unaffordable £10, but now it's only a penny I can't wait!"
Perhaps the policy of creating an innumerate generation was deliberate after all.
