I haven't posted about the AV issue, because I am genuinely in two minds about it, and my thoughts have yet to settle to any kind of opinion one way or the other. And there here comes a videoclip (nod of the Shoei to Captain Ranty) which says it all.

College Pranks
Electoral College, that is. Let me see now ...
According to the BBC:
Labour Party members wanted David Miliband.
Labour Party MPs wanted David Miliband.
The Unions wanted Diane Abbott.
And after several rounds of vote-counting, the party got Ed Miliband.
Hardly a ringing endorsement for AV, is it?
