As a parody of a certain British news style, it is impeccable - riotously funny and skewering the Daily Mail at the same time. (Example: "Is the celebrity diet we recommended last week killing you?") And getting parody right is a very difficult thing to do. It isn't just saying the opposite of what's true. I've looked at the site you mention and frankly it isn't in the same league.

However, debating what makes us laugh is a fruitless exercise, like herding cats. If you like it, stick with it, and I will continue soaking my keyboard when reading The Mash.Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15743685798068014455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7099099432720184584.post-55992516840143807752012-03-07T17:35:47.089+00:002012-03-07T17:35:47.089+00:00www.the-daily-news.co.uk is much funnier than the ...www.the-daily-news.co.uk is much funnier than the Daily Mash. The Mash just says the opposite of what's true, with some nastiness thrown in. Anyone can do that. It's funny but, at the same time, it's not funny at all. I'm sure somebody is going to be all concerned about second-hand sitting, and wondering about the effect on the cheeeeldren.Richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15743685798068014455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7099099432720184584.post-69151376930272447532011-06-26T06:42:48.735+01:002011-06-26T06:42:48.735+01:00There's a simple test.
